DESCRIPTION :

Nimgam-P is a combination medicine containing nimesulide and paracetamol. It helps relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever. It may be prescribed for certain painful conditions under medical supervision.

INDICATIONS :

Nimgam-P may be prescribed for :

Muscular pain

Joint pain and inflammation

Back pain

Toothache

Ear and throat pain

Fever, when appropriate

IMPORTANT : The medicine should only be used for approved indications and under a doctor’s supervision.

HOW IT WORKS :

Nimesulide : Reduces the production of prostaglandins, substances involved in pain and inflammation.

Paracetamol : Helps relieve pain and reduce fever by acting on the body’s temperature-regulating and pain-processing pathways.

Together, these ingredients help relieve pain and fever.

Use only under medical supervision.

Nimesulide can cause serious liver injury and should be used only when prescribed and appropriate.

Avoid taking additional medicines containing paracetamol unless your doctor advises it.

Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

People with liver or kidney disease, stomach ulcers, or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding should consult their doctor before use.

Avoid alcohol during treatment.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.

Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, and diarrhoea. Seek medical attention if you experience signs of liver problems, such as yellowing of the skin or eyes.
