DESCRIPTION : 

Gampclav Dry Syrup is a combination antibiotic containing amoxycillin and clavulanic acid. It is used to treat certain bacterial infections and is available as a dry powder that must be reconstituted with the specified amount of sterile water before use.

INDICATIONS :

It may be prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections , including :

Ear , nose and throat infections.

Respiratory tract infections

Skin and soft tissue infections

Certain dental infections.

HOW IT WORKS :

Amoxycillin : Inhibits bacterial cell-wall formation, causing susceptible bacteria to die.

Clavulanic acid : Blocks certain beta-lactamase enzymes produced by bacteria, helping protect amoxycillin from breakdown.

Together , these ingredients help treat a wider range of susceptible bacterial infections.
