DESCRIPTION :

CUFGAM-D is a combination cough syrup intended to provide relief from dry cough and associated common cold and allergy symptoms. It combines a cough suppressant, a nasal decongestant, and an antihistamine to help relieve coughing, nasal congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose.

INDICATIONS :

CUFGAM-D may be used for symptomatic relief of :

Dry, irritating cough.

Cough associated with the common cold.

Nasal congestion or a blocked nose.

Runny nose and sneezing.

Allergy-related symptoms.

IMPORTANT : It is generally intended for dry cough, not for every type of cough.

HOW IT WORKS :

Each ingredient has a different function :

Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide

Suppresses the cough reflex by acting on the cough centre in the brain.

Helps reduce dry,irritating cough.

Phenylephrine Hydrobromide

Acts as a nasal decongestant.

Helps relieve nasal stuffiness.

Chlorphrine Maleate

Blocks histamine, a substance involved in allergic reactions.

Helps reduce sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.
