DESCRIPTION :

GAMTY 200 is a lactulose-based oral solution used to relieve constipation. It helps soften stools by drawing water into the colon, making bowel movements easier and more comfortable.

INDICATIONS :

Relief from constipation.

Management of hard stools and difficult bowel movements.

Prevention and treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, when prescribed by a doctor.

HOW IT WORKS :

Lactulose acts as an osmotic laxative. It reaches the colon, where it draws water into the bowel and softens stools. This helps stimulate bowel movements and makes passing stools easier.

In hepatic encephalopathy , lactulose also helps reduce the absorption of ammonia from the intestine.

Excessive use may cause diarrhoea , abdominal cramps , bloating or dehydration.
