DESCRIPTION :

Gampcef-O is a combination antibiotic supplied as a dry syrup that is reconstituted with water before oral administration. It is intended for use in children when prescribed by a doctor for certain bacterial infections.

INDICATIONS :

It may be prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections, including :

Ear , nose and throat infections

Respiratory tract infections

Urinary tract infections

Certain gastrointestinal infections, including typhoid , when appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS :

Cefixime : A cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell-wall formation.

Ofloxacin : A fluoroquinolone antibiotic that blocks bacterial enzymes needed for DNA replication.

Together, they act against susceptible bacteria.

IMPORTANT NOTICE :

Use only on a doctor’s prescription.

The dose must be determined by the doctor according to the child’s weight age and infection.

Reconstitute and store exactly as directed on the product label.

Do not use for viral infections such as the common cold.
