DESCRIPTION :

Rabigamp-20 is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) injection that reduces stomach acid production. It is used when intravenous acid-suppressing treatment is required and oral medication is unsuitable.

INDICATIONS :

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Acid-related disorders requiring IV treatment.

Patients unable to take oral proton pump inhibitors , when clinically appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS :

Rabeprazole blocks the H+/ K+ -ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in the stomach’s acid-producing cells. This reduces acid secretion and helps relieve acid-related symptoms and promotes healing of ulcers.
