DESCRIPTRION :

CLINDA-GAM is a prescription antibiotic injection containing clindamycin. It is used to treat certain serious bacterial infections , particularly those caused by susceptible bacteria, including anaerobic bacteria.

INDICATIONS :

It may be prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections such as :

Skin and soft-tissue infections

Bone and joint infections

Respiratory tract infections

Intra-abdominal infectons

Certain gynaecological infections

Septicaemia caused by susceptible bacteria.

HOW IT WORKS :

Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50s ribosomal subunit. This prevents bacteria from producing essential proteins and inhibits their growth.
