DESCRIPTION :

DICLOGAM-75 is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) injection used for short term relief of pain and inflammation.

INDICATIONS :

It may be prescribed for :

Acute musculoskeletal pain

Joint pain and inflammation associated with arthritis

Acute back pain

Post-operative pain

Acute gout and renal colic , when clinically appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS :

Diclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes , reducing the production of prostaglandins , chemicals involved in pain and inflammation. This helps relieve pain , swelling and stiffness.

IMPORTANT NOTICE :

Prescription medicine : Use only under medical supervision.

The injection must be administered by a qualified healthcare professional.

Avoid use in patients with active stomach ulcers , serious kidney or heart problems , or a history of allergy to diclofenac or other NSAIDs unless specifically assessed by a doctor.

Diclofenac can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and cardiovascular events.

Use during pregnancy , especially in the third trimester , is contraindicated.

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.
