DESCRIPTION:

Escigam-plus is a prescription combination medicine containing an SSRI antidepressant (escitalopram) and a benzodiazepine (clonazepam). It is generally used for anxiety and related mood symptoms.

INDICATIONS:

Anxiety disorders

Depression associated with anxiety

Panic disorders

Other anxiety-related conditions, when prescribed by a doctor.

HOW IT WORKS:

Escitalopram increases serotonin activity in the brain, helping improve mood and reduce anxiety.

Clonazepam: enhances GABA activity, producing a calming and anxiolytic effect and helping reduce anxiety/panic symptoms.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Prescription medicine : use only under medical supervision.

Clonazepam may cause drowsiness, dizziness and dependence with prolonged use.

Avoid alcohol and be careful with driving or operating machinery.

Do not stop clonazepam suddenly; it may cause withdrawal symptoms.
