DESCRIPTION :

GAMPNUM -125 is an injectable antibiotic containing meropenem, a broad-spectrum carbapenem used to treat certain serious bacterial infections . It is administered intravenously under medical supervision.

INDICATIONS :

Meropenem may be prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections, including :

Complicated intra-abdominal infections.

Pneumonia , including certain hospital-acquired infections.

Complicated skin and soft-tissue infections.

Certain urinary tract infections.

Other serious infections when clinically appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS :

Meropenem works by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall.

This weakens the cell wall and causes susceptible bacteria to die, helping control the infection.
