DESCRIPTION :

Pantogam-40 is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) injection containing pantoprazole. It reduces stomach acid production and is used when intravenous acid-suppressing treatment is clinically required.

INDICATIONS :

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) when oral treatment is unsuitable.

Acid-related disorders requiring intravenous pantaprazole.

Certain cases of pathological gastric acid hypersecretion , as directed by a physician.

HOW IT WORKS :

Pantoprazole blocks the proton pump (H+ / K+ -ATPase) in the stomach’s acid-producing cells. this reduces stomach acid secretion, and allowing the stomach and food pipe lining to heal.
